Lawsuit Against Colorado’s Marijuana Laws Is Thrown Out
On Monday The U.S. Supreme Court threw out a lawsuit filed by Nebraska and Oklahoma against a Colorado law that allows recreational use of marijuana. The two states claim that marijuana is being smuggled across state borders. Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas say they were willing to hear the case. Federal law still prohibits marijuana. The state of Colorado legalized recreational marijuana in 2012.
